III.            Old Business

A.     Uniforms-

1.        Formal Uniform Payments are due Oct. 8  if you are ordering new items, Formal Uniform Check Day: Dec. 7

2.        Informal Uniform Check Oct. 16 at Sing-a-Thon (jeans & t-shirts)- T-shirts on order/ will be distributed that day if they come; otherwise wear green PPE t-shirt- 25 points will be awarded for having full-length plain blue jeans + white sneakers/socks or black sneakers/socks (no ankle socks)

3.        Help needed with checking both days!

B.     Fall Sing-a-Thon- Fri. Oct. 16  from 2-6:30pm- wrap-up

        1.     Need  Volunteers to help:

¯  supervise rehearsals (also assist w/informal uniform check)

¯  Help bake/ bag/donate items for brownies at school week of Oct. 13

¯  get pizza for 6:00pm- donations or purchase; organize drinks- contact McDonalds for orange drink;     

¯  get paper goods (McDonalds?); get gift certificates from Barnes & Noble or ??? (will be reimbursed).

¯  serve pizza and drinks from 6:00-6:30pm; clean up

¯  Make harvest goodie bags and assist with checkout

¯  Sell snacks and count pledges

2.     Proceeds go to children’s accounts &  PPSBA general fund (50%/50%)

3.     MINI-CONCERT AT 5:45PM FOR PARENTS- it’s a short one showing what they have learned so far. Please help critique them on singing basics (complete critique sheet as you listen)… this becomes our baseline data for improvement.

4.     Brownie item donations needed by Tues. Oct. 13- sign up sheet

IV.            New Business

A.    Need of the Month- copy paper (we are almost out!), new CD-R discs; Avery labels #5160 or equivalent

B.    Fundraising

1.     Proposed Fundraisers include:

a.      Fall and Spring Sing-a-Thon’s (see below)

b.        Concert program book Advertisement

c.        Candy sales/ Bake Sales/ Garage Sales

d.        Recorder sales

e.     Fall Festival

C.    Spring Trip: still in the works, stay tuned

                D.    Holiday Concert (date TBA)
