B. Students in general music classes are doing Music In Our Schools Month podcasts on musical topics to watch on movie night- Fri. April 9th.
C. Sing-a-thon February 19th. Goal is fundraising ($21/child)/high quality performance. Concert Time is 5:45. Same routine as in the Fall. Items for brownies and goodie bags should be in by the 16th. We need help for various aspects of the event. 50% go to general account and 50% into child’s account. This can be applied towards their trip costs. THANKS to all who will help out!!!
D. Musicianship tests will be given for levels 1-2; for those absent, it is mandatory to make up outside of rehearsal. Audition days are a good time for this.
E. PTA Carnival on 2/27- chorus will have a Sand Art booth- 10-2 pm. Adults plus high schoolers will run. Mrs. Levin will order supplies.
F. Family nights/Help for Haiti- vote was to donate $170 up front for Haiti via American Red Cross, but keep future money (in other words, we are pledging a portion of each family night’s proceeds to Haiti up to $170, but are sending the lump sum now to help out when it’s most needed. We are giving money now that we expect to earn back at family nights; therefore, future family night proceeds will benefit PPSBA more than Haiti.) M/S/P, but not unanimous.
