Important Chorus News:

         Kudos to the combined Junior and Senior Choirs, who raised $2,000 for the choral program at their annual Fall Sing-a-Thon & Mini-Concert, held Fri. Oct. 10_th  from 2:00-6:30pm! Congratulations on an outstanding afternoon and mini-concert performance! Your overall grade for the combined choirs was 85% B, and for Senior Choir was 92% A. That's pretty good for a pre-test, but still allows room for growth. Keep up the great work! On Oct. 13, we received district approval for our April 24, 2009 field trip-performance at the MUSIC USA Festival competition in Orlando, FL. Thanks to all chorus parents who responded so quickly in returning your paperwork and deposits! The trip is now full, but a waiting list is forming. Please send a note to Mrs. Drummings, PPSBA President, if you would like your child to be on the waiting list. Mrs. Greggs is now an maternity leave, so Chorus will be taking a rehearsal break until Dec. 1. Choristers, please listen to those practice CDs at least 3 times a week so you can learn our holiday tunes! Parents, please check the chorus website www.musicmakerscamp.com for updates on rehearsals and chorus news. The next major Chorus event will be our Caroling in the Neighborhood event on Friday, Dec. 12 from 6:30-9pm, which will be followed by a tailgate treat party. See you then!
            The next PPSBA chorus parents meeting will be held Thurs. Nov. 6 at 6:30pm- parents please come! We value your input and your time.
