Chorus Trip
Information

General Information:
WE HAVE School Board approval! Plantation Park Singers is planning to visit Tallahassee, FL to perform a 30-minute Arts Advocacy concert at the Florida Capitol Building on April 16, 2010. This is a two-day trip with an overnight stay. The trip is open to the first 48 choristers who return payments with permission packages. Packages will only be accepted from choristers who are in good standing with no unexcused absences.
The estimated cost per participant is $150. We are taking only 1 bus. The Plantation Park Elementary 5th Grade Class is also taking 1 bus, but all choristers will ride on the Chorus bus.
A $75 per person nonrefundable deposit will due to the school by Feb. 18, 2010, along with permission forms and chaperone information. 50% of each chorister's Fall & Spring Sing-a-Thon pledges may be applied toward the balance only of the trip (not toward the deposit). Balances will be due approximately March 12.
All chaperones must have received level 2 security clearance (fingerprinting) and have already been selected & notified. Parents not selected as official chaperones are more than welcome to follow the bus in their own vehicles and stay at the same hotel; however choristers attending the trip MUST stay in a room with other students, not with their parents. Per school board policy, non-official chaperones may not remove their children from their official school-board approved chaperones at any time during the trip. (Sorry, folks, I don't make the rules.) See below for the official permission letter!
Please email Mrs. Greggs if you have further questions. Thanks!
