Notes-

·         It is a pleasure to work with your children! Please keep this calendar handy! The calendar is subject to change - look for updates periodically at www.musicmakerscamp.com.  

·         Generally speaking, chorus is scheduled once per week on Thursdays (or Mondays if Thurs. is early release or day off) during non-concert months, or twice per week during concert months (from about 6 weeks before major performances), as follows:

Sept.-Nov. -    2-3:15pm except for fall Sing-a-Thon (Fri. 10/16 from 2-6:30pm).
Once football season ends, rehearsals change to 2-4pm 2 days per week (Nov. 30-Dec.17) to prepare for our winter show.

Jan-Mar- 2-3:30pm Thursdays except testing weeks (Mondays if Thurs. is early release/off).

Apr-May- after spring break, from mid-April on, 2 days per week from 2-4pm to prepare for our spring show.

·         The Fall & Spring Sing-a-Thons in their entirety are mandatory for all choristers. They are fun, we learn a lot, and we raise much needed funding, so please plan for your child to be there. Watch for more details in the Sing-a-Thon packet going home Oct. 1 and Feb. 1. Study for those Musicianship Tests!

·        There will be no rehearsal during FCAT testing, and FCAT camps will meet on Wednesday this year, so there will be no conflict with Chorus.

·         PLEASE TURN IN EXCUSE NOTES WITHIN 2 REHEARSALS IF YOUR CHILD MISSES A REHEARSAL. THE FRONT OFFICE DOES NOT TELL MRS. GREGGS WHEN CHILDREN ARE NOT IN SCHOOL, SO PLEASE EMAIL OR SEND A NOTE. THANKS!

·         Children who wish to participate in Art Club and Chorus may do so. On Mondays when Chorus meets, students in both clubs will go to art from 2:00-2:45 and Chorus from 2:45-3:30 (or 4pm). Art Club students please sign in on the clipboard when you arrive.

·         Visit the chorus website at www.musicmakerscamp.com for the latest chorus news, forms, & schedules. You can also email PPSBA board members & Mrs. Greggs through the site.

In order to sign up for Chorus, answer everyone’s questions, & get organized for the year, ALL chorus parents or a designee MUST attend one of two informational meetings:
Wed. 9/16 from 6:30-8pm in the PPE cafeteria, or
Thurs. 9/17 from 2:00-3:00pm in the PPE Music Room.
Please bring $20 registration donation per child (add $15 for each additional child, CASH ONLY).
PPSBA (Chorus Booster Association) meets regularly on the first Thursday of the month. Our first meeting will be held in conjunction with the 9/16 informational meeting; we welcome and encourage everyone’s input to make Chorus the best it can be.  Thanks for your support!
