CHORUS
Uniform Information
2009-2010
OCTOBER 1, 2009
Dear Chorus Parent(s):
Thank
you for joining the Plantation Park Elementary Choir! We are looking forward to
this years
upcoming performances. We have TWO uniforms: Formal and Informal,
depending on our performance venue. Choristers need to have BOTH uniforms for
performances, and we ask that these pieces NOT BE WORN as part of the daily
wardrobe, especially the t-shirts, as we order 1 per child per year and if yours
gets stained we cant
replace it.
Formal uniforms are described on the following pages. Check our uniform bank for any items that my fit your child, then submit the enclosed order form for whatever you cant find. Note that payment for all formal uniform items is due Thurs. Oct. 8 in Cash or Money Order only, in a envelope with your childs name, folder number, & UNIFORM written on the outside. (***IF YOUR UNIFORM STILL FITS FROM LAST YEAR, YOU STILL NEED TO SUBMIT THE FORM IN THIS PACKET SO WE KNOW YOU DO NOT NEED TO ORDER ANYTHING. ***)
FORMAL UNIFORM BANK INFORMATION. Check our uniform bank for any items that my fit your child before ordering items. The uniform bank is housed in the music room. Call or email Mrs. Greggs if you can't come by we'll see if we have your size. We will also make arrangements for your child to try on whatever it is you need. You may also want to contact families whose children have participated in Chorus in the past but are not singing this year. They may be willing to sell or give their items directly to you. If your child is a returning chorister, be sure to check that your child's old shoes fit; if they don't, send them in to the Uniform Bank. If we can, we will trade you for a larger size. If we don't have a larger size, see info. below on where to purchase new shoes. Thanks!
ALL UNIFORM BANK

INFORMAL UNIFORMS.
The informal uniform (plain, straight cut, full-length, dark blue jeans w/no holes or decorations, current year's chorus t-shirt*, white sneakers with white socks -or- black sneakers with black socks), is worn for less formal appearances such as Sing-a-thons, caroling or traveling in theme parks. All shirts must be tucked in when we perform. Please wash white sneakers before performances if possible. Thanks!
